What is the Englishbox?
The Englishbox is a box containing a Language Connexion manual and a scratch card. The scratch has a secret code giving access to a specific number of telephone lessons on a landline, in addition to online exercises.

How do I use my Englishbox?
1. Activate your account online or by calling our free phone number
When you activate your account, you will be asked to give the code which is written on your Englishpass and will have to answer a question relating to your Englishbox manual. Si vous réservez par Internet, vous devez donner également le code confidentiel et répondre aux questions du formulaire.
After this, your teacher will contact you directly by email to set up the dates and times for your lessons.
2. Book your lesson according to your availabilities.

When does my first lesson start?
Before beginning your telephone lessons, you will be asked to fill in a form in your profile. You will also also be asked to complete a grammar test so that we can evaluate your level correctly and choose a teacher to meet your needs.
Your teacher will then contact you to set up your first lesson.

How can I take an appointment?
As soon as you have activated your account your teacher will contact you by email to set up your telephone lessons at a time that suits you. After this, you can book any future lessons directly with your teacher.

When can I book a lesson?
You can book a lesson for any day of the week, including weekends when we have teachers available.

Can I change the length of my lessons?
Englishbox lessons last 20 minutes. We advise this length of lesson in order to optimize memorization and concentration. You can, however, change the length of your lessons to 30 or 40 minutes at any time simply by asking your teacher directly.

What happens during a lesson?
You can download the material for your lessons in your profile. Written at the beginning of each lesson, you will find the chapters that you should prepare beforehand. At the end of each lesson your teacher sends you a feedback report with all the important points from your lesson (grammar, vocabulary, etc.)

Is there any lesson material? Can I ask my teacher to work on my own personal material?
Language Connexion has designed lesson material specifically adapted to different levels and objectives.
You may also send your own documents to your teacher to go study during your telephone lessons.

Can I cancel my lesson if I have a problem?
You may cancel your lesson but we ask you to do this more than 24 hours prior to your lesson by sending an email to your teacher. You should also set up a new time for your lesson.
If you cancel your lesson less than 24 hours beforehand, the lesson is considered lost and debited from your number of hours.

Are there any specific conditions attached to the Englishbox lessons?
Anyone taking Englishbox lessons should have a landline or an internet number and should have internet access to download the lesson material.

Can I change teachers?
You can change teachers at any time and for any reason by contacting us by phone on 0810 300 323 or by email at info@languageconnexion.com. For the best results possible we recommend you stay with the same teacher.

Do I have to pay for the phone calls for my lessons?
All calls to a landline are included in the price of your Englishbox. Calls to mobile phones are not included and must be paid by the client.
It is always the teacher that calls the student on a landline for the telephone lessons. If you wish to be called on a mobile phone, you can do so by choosing the mobile option.

Can I be called on my mobile phone?
Yes, you can be called on your mobile phone if your have chosen the mobile option. You may chose to be called on your mobile at any time by contacting us on 0810 300 323 or by email on info@languageconnexion.com.

Can I continue my lessons when I have finished the lessons included in my Englishbox?
It is true that six 20-minute lessons may not be sufficient to reach your objectives and necessary level. In order to reach your goals you may have to increase your amount of self-study or continue your lessons.

Does the Englishbox have any additional costs?
No, the price includes the manual, telephone lessons and online exercises. There are no extra costs. However, calls to a mobile phone are not included and are an additional cost.

How long is an Englishbox valid for?
As soon as your Englishbox has been activated you have one year to benefit from your telephone lessons.
You can take your lessons 7 days a week depending on the availablities of our teachers.

Where can I buy an Englishbox?
There are three ways you can buy an Englishbox:

Is it safe to pay online on your website?
For all online payments we use an online payment gateway called Realex. At no time is your credit number exposed. Any data transmission is encrypted and secured according to the SSL 3 protocol (Secure Socket Layer) which is the norm used by almost all e-commerce websites. We never stock your bank card details.

How long does it take for my order to be delivered?
For any deliveries made in France, as soon as your payment has been validated, your Englishbox will be sent. The delivery time guaranteed by La Poste is between 24-72 hours on working days.
We will contact you by email when the parcel has been sent, giving you a number to track your order on the website chronopost.fr.

Can my order be delivered to a different destination?
Yes, the delivery address can be different from your address and can be an address in France or abroad.
